I'm Conners and the love of my life here is Shasta.

This site  will reveal many things things I hold dear, such as my family of pets, plus my Rainbow Bridge fur-family and rescues.

Shasta also has her own picture page and look through my continuing updated photo album. I really had fun with this page and think you will too, so please check out her pictures.

I will also be talking about issues that are extremely important to me... and hopefully you, such as Animal abuse and how you can spot and help prevent it. In Canada we can fight for Bill C-373 to be enforced and I lead you to links for you to learn more. Bill C-373 would protect ALL animals from cruelty, not just pets. There are so many appalling ways man treats stock and wildlife too. Check out my Stop Cruelty to Animals Bill-373 page.

Another extremely important issue is the BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) against very loyal and loving breeds in the classification of  'Pit bull'.

You will notice I have a page for the Ontario Pit bull Ban, but that page is important to  all Provinces, States and other Countries. The Policy of creating a Law Province Wide is a first of it's kind in North America, and this has lead the way for other Provinces in Canada and in the USA taking into consideration of adopting this law.

Michael Bryant had a long talk to Denver. What's that tell you and they didn't even get the Grandfathering Clause.  My heart goes out to all the pet bull owners in Denver.

At this rate, the Pit bull breeds will be extinct if we don't help to do something about it along with other breed bans and more to come. Michael Bryant has stated he hopes North America will follow his lead.

There are two video's of interviews with Michael Bryant as he tells Ontario Residents that Pit bulls are banned in Ontario.

One is the interview as seen on TV while the other one is the raw footage of that interview.

So, no matter where you are from, this page is also important for you, along with Bill 132 and other documentations of the hearing proceedings.

We are continuing to fight the Specific Breed Legislation and going for amendments to the law.

Ontario is fighting back now! We've had enough! The Ontario Pit bull Owners have taken the Province to court with the help of the Banned Aid Coalition hiring Clayton Ruby to take the Province to make fair amendments to the law that will REALLY work and give people back their rights.

The Ontario's Pit Bull Ban became effective as of August 29th, 2005, but with a 60 day grace to abide by specific complancies.

 Oct 28th, the ban became in full effect.

Pit bull puppies that were born after 17:41 on November 28, 2005, EST. became illegal and still being destroyed even today. Some people think they can play against the law, but at who's expense? The DOGS!

I am also keeping an online journal of what is happening with the 'Pit bulls' and stories of adventures with Shasta due to Bill 132. Because it was becoming quite large I broke it up into years, then finally you can read them all in my DEFEND-A-BULL Blog. You can follow the link closer to the bottom.

I'm so excited! I made an Awards Page. Check them out! 

A page has been added called 'Fallen Martyrs of BSL' and I am asking for dogs pictures, etc. as explained on the page, that have been put down due to BSL. These dogs must not be forgotten! They are innocent fallen victims that had to pay the fight against unfair law. To be killed innocently, is called MURDER!

Supreme Court Judge Hermen has made a ruling. It will be interesting to see how the law will be rewritten.

Mayor Sam Jones Rescues Pit Bull Terrier

Mobile Mayor Sam Jones has negotiated a new home for the
Pit Bull Terrier found in Midtown last month - a move that will
protect the safety of the public and not alter the city's policy on
these breeds.

The Pit Bull, which was found underweight, ill-fed and
dehydrated, will be sent to the Utah-based Best Friends Animal
Society, a group found Friday by Jones and animal shelter officials.

"The issue with the dog has taken away from the city's
award-winning adoption program at the shelter," said Mayor
Jones. "This arrangement will hopefully return the focus back to
the need for good homes for adoptable animals in our shelter."

There are currently 109 dogs in our kennel, with 51 up
for adoption. Jones said the Best Friends Animal Society has
assured the city that the dog will not be adopted.

"This will allow the city's policy to remain intact,"
said Mayor Jones.
